The Saints began their varsity program in 2005 with Logan Roberts as the Head Coach. Since then there have been seven coaching changes. Chris Fiala is the newest and he has high hopes to take Churchville-Chili back to the glory days, when D.T. Benedict (now at Brighton) had a 17-1 record in 2016.

Churchville-Chili, Greece, Pittsford, and Penfield finished and will wait for tournament seeding on Sunday. Irondequoit won a close one with Churchville-Chili. Victor won a close one with Pittsford and Brockport won a close one with East United-Eastridge.

Monday: DAY IN REVIEW: Senior attackman Brady Knauf scored the last of his 5g-1a in the second overtime period to give Gates Chili a 12-11 win at Gananda tonight. Meanwhile, in Canandaigua defense was the name of the game as the Braves defeated McQuaid Jesuit 4-1. The other seven games were mismatches in which the winners outscore their opponents 105-24.

Monday: DAY IN REVIEW: It took overtime for Penfield to defeat The Panthers 12-11 tonight on the road. With Pittsford up 11-7 at the top of the fourth quarter but starting with 5:08 left in the game, Penfield scored four unanswered goals to tie the game at 11-11 with 2:11 left. With 2:04 left in overtime, senior attackman Sam Cummings scored the game-winner with an assist from Jake Fox. Cummings ended the game with 4g and senior midfielder Chris Smith added 3g-2a. John Richiusa gave the Patriots lots of ball time as he won 23/27 faceoffs. Pittsford senior attackman Harrison Cross led scoring with 2g-2a and junior James Cook added 3g for the Panthers (2-2) who will play R-H on Wednesday. Penfield bumps to 4-0 and will play Canandaigua on Wednesday.[BOX SCORE]

Junior midfielder Patrick Mitchell has announced his decision to continue his education and play lacrosse at Canisius College. The Churchville-Chili junior will start this season with a career record of 56g-29a and 119 groundballs. In his sophomore year he recorded 35g-26a and was named to the first team All League list (MC-d2).

# 2907  Spencerport Scores Last Four to Win by One

Spencerport only led for just under two minutes during their 10-9 win over Churchville-Chili tonight in the opening round of the Class B Tournament.  The eighth seeded Rangers played the ninth seeded Saints for the second time this season.  Their last matchup was less than a week ago with Spencerport winning that game 12-6.  Tonight, the Saints played a much stronger game and led for the majority; including a three goal lead halfway through the fourth quarter that Spencerport fought back against.

Webster Schroeder fought back from a four goal deficit to defeat Churchville-Chili 9-8 in the first overtime period.  The Warriors scored the final five goals (including the overtime goal) in the win.  They held the Saints scoreless for 13 minutes.

Churchville-Chili used a strong second quarter to secure the 11-10 win over Rush Henrietta.  The Saints scored the game winning goal with only 0:11 remaining on the clock with an unassisted goal from Patrick Mitchell.  Mitchell, who finished the game with 4 goals, scored the last two goals for the Saints.  Eli Chalmers also scored 4 goals for Churchville-Chili.  Rush-Henrietta was led in scoring by Luke Delavak (3g-2a).

Saturday: DAY IN REVIEW: R-H won their third game with a win against Livonia-Avon. After leading for the majority of three quarters, RH had to fight back in the final five minutes to defeat Livonia-Avon 10-9. The Royal Comets had not scored in over 12 minutes when Nick Cowie scored the game winning goal with 0:17 left in regulation. (Story Continues).

Senior Eli Chalmers fed Patrick Mitchell for the game winning goal 3:40 into the first overtime period to give Churchville-Chili the 12-11 win over Williamsville North.  Tonight was opening night of the new Saint’s turf field and Chalmers was a demonstrative force; he finished with 6g-3a and was a part of 75% off all Churchville-Chili goals.

# 2810  Greece Storm Scores Five Straight in Win over C-C

Greece Storm scored five unanswered goals spanning the second and third quarters in their 8-5 win over Churchville-Chili. The Storm held the Saints scoreless for over 23 minutes in the contest.  They also spread out their offense with six players making the offensive book.  Jacob Holdaway led in scoring with 3 goals, including the last two.  Churchville-Chili had each of their five goals scored by a different athlete.

Under Armour recently announced their rosters for the 13th Annual All-American game in July. Named to the "South team" were defenseman Tanner Hay and goalie Chayse Ierlan, both from Victor.
